“Bloodshot” Review
XXX Returns
Vin Diesel is back as Xander Cage in the latest installment of the Triple X trilogy, this time to recover “Pandora’s Box” and save the world. The team consists of the same cast including Samuel L. Jackson as Gibbons and Ice Cube as Darius Stone and is a high energy action thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat with excitement as action after action is coming your way to bring you to the end in hopefully one piece.
It’s the typical XXX movie, where to coin a line, “You kick some ass, get the girl and try to look dope while you’re doing it.” Overall, there’s not much to the movie, however if you like heart pounding action, triple X is the movie for you.
It came out in theaters Thursday January 20th and is playing at one near you. It’s expected to bring in at least 20 million its opening weekend according to box office mojo as it has a little competition with M. Night Shyamalan’s Split.
“Guardians” Take The Top For The Fourth Week
Twenty six years from his home planet, Earth, Peter Quill finds himself on a new planet where his adventures land him right in the middle of a epic battle between good and evil when he happens upon an orb which has more power than he even realizes. The villain Ronan is now after Quill to obtain the orb in hopes of wiping out an entire planet.
But now it’s up to Quill otherwise known as Starlord and his band of misfits, including the assassin, Gamora, the tough warrior, Drax, a talking tree with more of a spiritual power to protect and the science experiment Rocket, all with their own agendas which they must put aside to form the Guardians of the Galaxy and save the world.
Guardians of the Galaxy is an epic Sci-Fi Action Adventure that combines a great deal of comedy with awesome cinematography, great dialogue and a storyline that kept you intrigued from the first moment.
It currently holds the number one spot at the box office, four weeks in a row, bringing in nearly three million in revenues.
The adventure stars Chris Pratt as Quill, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as the tough Drax, Vin Diesel as the talking tree and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, the raccoon with anger management issues that practically steals the show with his wise cracking comments that has the audience laughing throughout.
