7th Annual Ride To The Flags
On Sunday, September 14, 2014, over a thousand motorcycle riders came out to donate time and money for the Ride To The Flags. They began their ride in triple degree weather at the Naval Base in Ventura County and road for a couple of hours through Malibu Canyon ending at Bluffs Park right next to Pepperdine University and their Wave of Flags.
One hundred percent of the funds raised goes to the beneficiary selected by the White Heart Foundation. This year, that beneficiary is Corporal Jed Morgan, who lost both legs in the Afghanistan War. The goal is to raise enough money to build a house suitable for Morgan’s mobility needs.

On Memorial Day, celebrations and ceremonies are held around the country as patriots celebrate America’s accomplishments.
In Los Angeles, a ceremony entitled “Honor A Life”, officially began the Memorial Day Festivities, which concluded with Ice Cream Bars and Water as residents were allowed to view the monuments at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
