“Mission Impossible” Review

The mission is possible for Tom Cruise in the latest Mission Impossible Fallout.  This time Cruise must race against time to prevent a bomb from going off when the enemies attempt the impossible even putting the love of his life at risk in the end.  The question is how will Cruise be able to save everyone in time.

At 2 hour 23 minute run time, the sixth installation in the Mission Impossible franchise is packed full of action, adventure and more as one sees nearly everything from fast cars to high flying sky dives by Cruise and of course the good old classic fist fights that has ones heart pumping as you sit on the edge of your seat wondering what is about to happen next.    Overall, Cruise doesn’t disappoint and the continued on screen chemistry with Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg and Alec Baldwin is dynamic as each one provides a sense of urgency when one realizes that the next moment might be their last.

Of course the same iconic music from the original TV series, adds to the motivation as the composer escalade the conflict through fast paced scores and dynamic action.  One knows that another fight scene is coming with the music picking up momentum and then slowing down or halting when all is calm again.

Ultimately, Mission Impossible Fallout which came out July 27 2018, is a film that all true fans must see.  They won’t be disappointed either as it is filled with the same punch and pack as it’s predecessor films and is the perfect movie to set the summer off to a better start.    The film took number one at the box office with a whooping 61.5 million for its debut weekend, making it Cruises second best opening in his career and the largest opening for any Mission Impossible film.

Mission Impossible Fallout is currently playing in a theater near you. See it today, one won’t regret it.
