29th Annual Pet Expo In Costa Mesa

Adoptions for even rabbits were available at the expo

And a bird show enticed crowds to learn more about the birds of prey.

Various Cat Litters like Neon, was on sale at fair prices.

As well as bags of cat and dog food for people to try for their four legged friends.

The spokesdog for “Lucy” Pet Products poised for photos.

As well as the spokescat who rode around in a pet stroller for safety

And the donkey sanctuary had information for all.

4 year old turtle siblings showed the difference in their sizes.

And the largest St Bernard allowed people to see at the expo.

Blue Buffalo dog food gave free samples for a small dollar donation.

And vendors like American Mutt sold handcrafted apparel custom made for the occasion.

Small parakeets stared off in the center.

And handicapped birds, showed that they can also be happy and healthy with special care

There were even new additions with 6 week old puppies at the breed booths to educate on the various breeds of dogs.

And Kost 103.5 played music for the event.

New this year, in the aquatic experience, spectators could gently touch starfish as well as sharks in the touch tank.

And Preston Speaks make his appearance in one of the halls as people saw the dog that is becoming an internet sensation.

Dogs made a splash in the popular Splash dogs.

And household cats were shown inside at the annual cat show.

125 Years of Fun in Costa Mesa, Calif.

The fair is back at the Orange County Fairgrounds and there is a lot to do starting July 17 through August 16. For just 12 dollars, fairgoers can view the baby animals that are born throughout the month and fast the fun fair foods at the various stands throughout the grounds. There’s farm animals, floriculture, photography and more. See it now, before it’s too late.

Livestock entertained crowds at two different sections of the fair.

Ships with black wool and white showed off for crowds.

Residents gazed at turkeys big and small at the fair.

In the auction arena, cattle were paraded around for spectators to take in and bid on.

various photography and artwork was awarded ribbons for their uniqueness and style.

Baby Animals stole the show including these day old chicks.

Beekeepers brought their bees to educate on how bees work including learning about how to locate the queen.

Ice creatures were illuminated in bright colors to highlight the art of ice sculptures.

Residents ventured inside a one degree cooler to marvel over the frozen sculptures in the Ice Museum.

And woodwork was also on display to view and buy.

In the collection corner, people could vote on their favorites for the people’s choice award.

And people marveled over the 5 day old piglets born at the OC Fairgrounds.

The OC Fair celebrates 125 years from when the original fair first began in 1890.

And for an addional charge, concerts entertained crowds at nighttime.

There’s a different concert each and every night all month long at the fair.

And of course pig races are a must see at every fair in So Cal.

Calves of only a few months rested in the nursery area of the barn.

Harvest Festival- The Original Arts and Crafts Show

As Fall sets in and the weather turns cool, in Anaheim, local farmers, and other handyman came out on October 11 through the 13 to showcase their best works of art at the Harvest Festival. From musicians and artists to wood carvers and more, there were over 24 thousand handcrafted originals, musicians including Powerhouse and a Rock and Roll singing pianist named Brady Goss and well as great food all at relatively reasonable prices.

Like last year, the 24^th Annual America’s Family Pet Expo returned to the Orange County Fairgrounds in Southern California. With it, they brought familiar acts like Splash Dogs as well as new editions.
