“Three Identical Strangers” Review

In documentary style, the unbelievable true story of an experiment where an adoption clinic knowingly separated twins and triplets for the purpose of scientific research.

The film follows real life triplets, Robert Shafran, David Kellman and Eddy Galland as they stumble upon the truth of their brotherhood and learn about the tragedy of what is to become of them.  Scoped from live action footage and exclusive interviews from the triplets both present and past, the film delves into the heart of the experiment that separated multiple twins from the time period of 1960-1980 and shows the results of the long standing debate of “nurture” vs. “Nature” that has people wondering what is better and if in fact one can be more dominant.

Overall, the film uses documentary style techniques that engages the audience and helps them to sympathize with what it feels like when one realizes they are not alone.

Three Identical Strangers came out in theaters January 19 2018 and is expanding its viewership to a theater near you.

Loosely based on the 1996, blockbuster Twister, that starred Helen Hunt and and Bill Paxton, Into the Storm brings the power of nature back to the big screen for a new generation to experience.  Told documentary style, storm trackers and high school students on their graduation day are caught in a series of deadly tornados that hit the local town of Silvertown, Oklahoma.  The film stars Richard Amitage, Sarah Wayne Calles, Matt Welsh, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Arlen Escarpeta, strangers who find themselves working together to both survive and document the deadly storm for the chance of saving future generation.

With action, suspense and a slight hint of romance, the story line is enough to keep the audiences attention throughout the entire movie.  Now in theaters, worldwide it’s a movie that one doesn’t want to miss.

Restoring State Parks—- Earth Day 2012

In Celebration of Earth Day 2012 and as part of a statewide initiative of The California State Park Foundation, nearly 100 Los Angeles residents came out on the second Saturday in April to work on preserving and restoring the natural side of Los Angeles.   They worked in groups to remove Fennal plants as well as nonnative California plants, cleaned up and preserved trees, removed dead trees and planted new trees and shrubbery for future generations to enjoy its beauty.

Old Trends

I love knitting.  I love working with my hands, creating things, but often times I feel like I’m the only one.  I feel that I’m living in the wrong generation.  While all my friends are surfing the web, I’m sitting at home making scarves, hats or whatever else I can make.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love my computer.  As you can tell by my blog, I’m very proficient in word as well as the internet, not to mention that I can make websites for people in a matter of hours, but I like other things.  I like being outdoors, nature.  I love writing, blogging and exploring my imagination every second of every day and I love… music.  I love taking my clarinet or saxophone and closing my eyes and just playing whatever I want to play.

It’s the creativity that keeps me alive and lets me go and grow and never, never give up.
