“The Killer’s Game” REVIEW

Joe Flood is one of the best assassins, but when he gets life changing news he is forced to decide between his career and his new relationship. Things get even more complicated as his decision sends a mass group of assassins to target and kill once and for all.

It’s like another John Wick as Dave Bautista excels as the top assassin trying to balance personal life with work life. He ultimately uses the same Guardian charm to accomplish this. At the same time, we see a bit of budding romance, similar to his previous love interest as he falls for ballad dancer while in the middle of his latest assignation attempt. Sofia Botella, equally brings her Kingsmen game especially in the last scene when it seems like Bautista is out of luck.

Additionally, the film also stars Bautista’s Guardian love interest, Pom Klementieff, this time as his true work partner. The three-way connection between her, Bautista and Botella will definitely leave audiences wanting more.

Finally, the film is rounded out with actors including The Expendables’ Terry Crews and Shang-Chi’s Ben Kingsley, who each add to the action and suspense of the action-packed movie. As a word of warning, The Killer’s game may not be of everyone but all who loves the spy/espionage type films will thoroughly enjoy this fun move.
