Drac is Back and Claiming Number 1
Sony’s Hotel Transylvania 2 has taken the number one spot at the box office its opening weekend bringing in over 43 million in revenues, making the film the top grossing film in September for its opening week and thus, dropping Fox’s Scorch Trials down to number three.
The animated sequel picks up where the original left off with Dracula, (voiced by Adam Sandler) saying goodbye to his daughter Mavis (voiced by Selena Gomez) as she marries her zing, Jonathan, (voiced by Andy Sandberg) but its not the end of the story for the couple has a son, which creates all knew adventures as Dracula, embraces the role of Vampa to Dennis (voiced by Asher Blinkoff). The animated film also features the voice talents of Kevin James, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Fran Drescher and Mel Gibson, as the monsters who live in Hotel Transylvania and ultimately work together to ensure Mavis doesn’t leave when she realizes that the Hotel may not be the safest place for her “human” son. It is their mission to help Dennis become a monster.
At an hour and a half runtime, the film is filled with adventure and laughs for the whole family including one of the kind parody songs written by Adam Sandler. Hotel Transylvania 2 is a must see for all who love a good ol’ fashion monster comedy story.

Universal’s House of Horrors will be used one last time for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights and then will be transformed into another unique dining, retail and entertainment experience.
Halloween- Who does it right?
When looking at all the different halloween theme park attractions, there is only one that does Halloween justice, Universal’s Halloween Horror Night. This year is especially just right with five brand new mazes and the return of the Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween adventure as well as Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses in 3D Zombievision.
The terror tram has it’s own “Scream” element and the scare zones are to dye for.
Of course, it’s no wonder Universal is king of Horror, after all they invented the genre with the ultimate monster movies like Frankenstein, The Bride, and Dracula to name a few.
So if you want a good scare, don’t forget to visit, USH’s Halloween Horror Nights, 23 days of terror that is the most fearful it could ever be. You won’t be sorry, trust me.
