Creativity was alive at the Halloween Carnival as people came in unique costumes just as a lifesize rubic cube.

And children dressed in their favorite characters.

Various vendors like Firehouse subs handed out candy and other free items such as fire hats.

And games enticed kids such as this plink-o in which they played to see what type of candy they could win.

There was also a petting zoo where kids could give alpacas their own kind of treat.

In the costume contest, the costumes were heard to pick from this chiid dressed as the bride of chucky.

In the end the dragon costume took 3rd place in the 5-7 age group.

And The island from Disney’s Moana took first in the same category.

Minnie mouse drew attention away from the older kids.

And scooby doo searched for his own scooby snack.

As local law enforcement go dunked by a pail of water over their head.

And various public service vehicles were on site for kids to get to see inside as they learn more about the uses of the vehicles.

It’s a pirate invasion at Shoreline Village in Long Beach as hundreds of pirates take over the beach area for their 11th annual Pirate Festival on September 24 and 25, 2016. With their landing, the “Pirates” brought their own music in the form of two distant pirate Bands as well as Time traveling gypsies who shared tales of the sea while creating blacksmith objects for the crowd and even their friendly parrots enticed crowds for picture taking opportunities.
