The next evolution of Marvel films is breaking ground and showing signs of what’s to come as the Dr Strange meets another familiar crew of heroes including Captain Marvel and Captain Carter as well as the infamous Dr. Charles Xavier (X-Men franchise).
This time Doctor Strange challenges his time traveling phenomena when he meets a young girl who in fact has the power to travel seamlessly through other universes, but he’s not the only one who is intrigued with this concept. Wanda Smirnoff, who is still deeply troubled by losing her only hope at a normal life and family is intrigued in what young America can do, but he ultimate question is should they really be traveling through other universes and what happens if they cross their own which are even more deeply troubled.
At 2 hour 6 minute runtime, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the Avenger film to get the summer started right. It has everything that any other Avenger film has including adventure, mystery and even a bit of magic from Doctor Strange himself.
The film stars, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange, Elisabeth Olsen as the Wanda (Scarlett Witch), Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo and Benedict Wong as Wong as they interact in new and creative ways. The film also brings “Babysitter” Xochitl Gomez as the girl who can cross the universes as well as brings back Dr. Strange’s love interest, Christine (Rachel McAdams) which adds to the jealousy of Wanda and creates the question is Wanda still good or did she go bad.
In the end, only time will tell as to who are true friends and who are true foes.
Dr. Strange came out in theaters May 6th and is currently playing in a theater near you.
