Disneynature continues its awareness mission with move ten as Penguins come to the big screen the weekend prior to Earth Day. In true form, the movie, filmed on location in Antarctica, the film which over five years to film captures the rawness and candid action of animals just doing what they do best.
The filmmakers of course pulled out all the stops in the filming, editing and finalizing in order to produce a documentary appealing to all. The shots were exceptionally captured in real time with video editing techniques including time lapse that made the video seem to good to be real but of course what do you expect for filming that takes five years to capture.
As far as the story, of course narrated by “The Office’s” Ed Helms, the writers did their research and used that along with creativity in order to create a story that perfectly matched the Penguin mannerisms of Steve and Adelaide. Also Helms’ as the voice of “Steve” was exceptional as his traditional quirkiness from his hit TV series The Office brought even more light and humor to the already funny penguins.
Disneynature’s Penguins came out in theaters and IMAX on April 19, 2019 and is an instant hit that all can enjoy. It’ll capture the young at heart and have true fans of photography and nature raveling at the gorgeousness of antarctica. See it in theaters, one won’t be sorry.
