“Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie” Review

The Paw Patrol pups are back on the big screen in their latest adventure and bringing smiles to audiences everywhere. This time, let’s add a little super powers when a meteor crash lands in Adventure City. Now it’s crime fighting on a whole new level as each put has a unique skill based on their own personality.

All in All, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie pays special homage to many of the fan favorite superhero franchises. Each pup embodies a different hero. Chase, the lead pup has “Flash” skills, Skye, the littlest pup has a “Supergirl” style, Rubble the boxer, has a destructive “Hulk” edge, Marshall, the dalmation, Zuma, the water pup has “Aquaman” powers and Rocky uses his “magnetic”Magneto” powers to save the day.

What is interesting about this latest film is it’s one of development, particularly for two pups who in there own way feel like neither one is enough for the team. Skye in the beginning struggles with being the smallest, and realizes there really is “no pup to small” and Liberty tries to figure out her power and begins to doubt that she has what it takes when it seems like she is the only pup without a special ability.

In the end though, the film proves that it really does take a team effort to save the day.

The Mighty Movie stars a long list of voice actors including Mckenna Grace, Kristen Bell, James Marsden, Taraji P. Hensen, and Kim Kardashian to name a few.

Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie came out in theaters September 29th and is currently playing in one near you.
