After last year’s Holiday Parade was canceled, Granada Hills is making a comeback. On December 5, 2021, lead for the first time by Kennedy High School, the parade welcomed spectators as they enjoyed the sights and sound of the holiday spirit. The parade kicked off at 1:30 at Petit Park and traveled down Chatsworth Street toward Zelzah, where it made its final destination at Granada Hills Charter High School. There were multiple marching bands, unique handmade floats on the back of flatbed pick ups and trailers, as well as the much loved and anticipated classic cars.
There were also mariachi bands and foklorico dancers who performed as horses danced down the street.
There were more than one opportunity to see the man in red including the motorcycle riding Santa as well as the one and only bringing up the rear in his own cleverly crafted ship sized sleigh.
