“Paddington In Peru” REVIEW

The fun loving, well-mannered bear named Paddington is back in his third adventure. This time it’s in Peru, but there’s reason for the trip. When he gets a postcard regarding his beloved Aunt Lucy who has gone missing, Paddington must go rescue her. Of course, that means the Browns too, which is fitting for one last family hurrah before the kids go away to college.

All in all, Paddington in Peru is fun for old and young alike as the third film follows the original story quite closely. There are the same things that make Paddington who he is including his infinite love for Marmalade which holds a big part into where Aunt Lucy ends up being. Additionally, Paddington learns more about his past as he is faced with an ultimate decision which may just affect the Browns after all, but we shall see.

The cast includes Ben Whishaw reprising the voice of Paddington as well as Hugh Bonneville as Mr. Brown, Emily Mortimer as Mrs. Brown, Julie Walters as Mrs. Bird. Additionally, we see new faces with Antonio Banderas as Hunter, Carla Tous as Gina and Olivia Coleman as Reverend Mother.

Ultimately the film will leave audiences laughing, crying and thoroughly enjoying and reliving the moments of Paddington as it once again comes alive on the big screen. Paddington in Peru came out in theaters February 14 and is currently playing in one near you.
