“Moana 2” REVIEW

Moana is back to her home on Motunui, but that’s not the end. As she is given a new title, one that hasn’t been given to any Wayfinder in over a thousand years. With that title, comes a mission as the ancestors show Moana of her next curse that she must break. That curse will hopefully reunite the other islands as one. The question is will Moana be able to go further than she has ever gone before and come back?

At an hour forty minute run time, Moana 2 brings back Hawaiian star Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in an all-new adventure. They are not alone this time as Moana now needs a crew to conquer this seemingly impossible mission. Complete with stars including NCIS: Hawaii’s Hualalai Chung, Rose Matafeo, and Next Goal Wins David Fane, all who add so much to the fun comedy to make it that much more enjoyable to watch.

It’s truly a good addition to the original. The animation is so bright and colorful that kids and adults alike will be transformed into the Polynesian artistry. Of course there is a stellar musical selections that will have audiences toe tapping as they follow the story line from beginning to end. All the actors, do a phenomenal job, but as can be expected Cravalho powerfully showcases her many vocal talents.

All in all, Moana 2 which came out in theaters Thanksgiving weekend, will have audiences laughing, crying and on the edge of their seats. See it in a theater near you before it’s too late.
