Magic Mike is back for one last dance in this epic conclusion to the trilogy 8 years in the making. The film will definitely leave audiences not realizing what they really want until they see it and cheering for the men on stage as they dance their hearts, soul and ultimately butts off.
The third film ultimately focuses almost exclusively on the art of the dance as the narration throughout compares and analyses dance of that nature.
As far as the story goes, the film ultimately finds Mike (Channing Tatum) working as a bartender after is business is destroyed from financial ruin. While working a party for wealthy socialite , Maxandra (Selma Hayek), who is also suffering from a bit of separation from a husband who cheated, Mike past is discovered in a very seductive manner.
What starts as seductive paid dancing turns into a bit more as business is mixed with pleasure and he finds himself following Maxandra to London in a all and all revival on a dying theatrical stage. The question is does Magic Mike truly have one last dance even after falling hard for his new business partner.
At an hour 52 minute run time, Magic Mike’s Last Dance will have you laughing and unexpectedly entertained by the sappy stripper comedy that it is known for. That being said, it’s certainly not for everyone as viewer discretion is strongly advised. No really nudity, but the content is very sexually explicit.
