“I.S.S”REVIEW

When battle breaks out on Earth, the international space station is not immune. With both Russians and Americans on board, each side is told to seek control of the headquarters. The question is who can really take charge up in space?

At an hour 35 minute runtime, I.S.S presents a unique concept which, if done in the right way, might have been an automatic hit at the box office. Unfortunately where the idea ends, the story does not live up to its expectations. Watching it as an audience, there are definitely a few hole that has one wondering just how they got there.

That being said, the actors, including West Side Story‘s Ariana Debose and The Boogieman‘s Chris Messina did their best to present the story. The only thing is there is not a lot to go by. Additionally, as an R rated movie, the film is rather mild, given a few gut wrenching attacks and a few random F- bombs. That being said, the film really doesn’t have any real harsh things that would completely warrant a R rating.

I.S.S came out in theaters January 19 and is currently playing in a theater near you. If you like space and want to take a chance, one should definitely see in soon. It might surprise you and perhaps one can make some sense out of the storyline.
