Next on our road to Halloween movie reviews is a tale that will get your heart pumping and lead you grabbing for the nearest covers. That being said, the series is totally appropriate for a younger generation as it gives good valuable lessons for all. The series I’m referring to is the late ’90’s Goosebumps, based on the children novels of that era. The series, though it doesn’t have any current relative known actors, does start every episode with a introduction by the author himself, R.L Stine and as a whole, it does a good job of bringing the spine chilling novels to life.
Additionally if you want more Goosebumps in your live, there are two stand alone movies to recommend which is the 2015 Goosebumps where R.L Stine is portrayed by Jack Black in his own quirky way. The film similarly does a good job of highlighting some of Stine’s more popular books including “Ghost Next Door” as well as Night of the Living Dummy“, which is explored more in its 2018 sequel, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. The review of the first movie can be found here and the latest 2018 movie and 90’s series are airing exclusively via Netflix. At these classics to your playlist to get the right scare for the season.
