“Goodrich” REVIEW

Business driven mogul, Andy Goodrich has never seemed to make time for any of his three children. When his second wife decides to check herself in to a 90-day rehab, he now has no choice. The question is can he truly mending the bond between father and child while holding out hope for his failing business.

Goodrich is an hour and 50-minute comedy that will have you laughing and on suspense wondering what will happen next. Beetlejuice’s Michael Keaton stars as the dad, Andy and does a great job as he instantly has the flair of trying to put his business before his children. That is instantly shattered by the performance of The Boogeyman’s Vivien Lyra Blair, who ultimately steals the show and Keaton’s heart so to speak. Blair’s natural raw talent is exceptional and definitely one to keep an eye on as she is sure to take on more roles in the future.

Similarly, Jupiter’s Mila Kunis plays that of Keaton’s older daughter as she equally captures the audience with her unique talent and playful banter between herself and Keaton. Finally, the cast rounds out with Jacob Kopera in his debut role Keaton’s third child.

All in all, Goodrich is a wholesome comedy about the importance of family values. It’s currently playing in theaters near you.
