A US air marshal is tasked with getting a high profile criminal from Anchorage to New York, but the pilot isn’t exactly what he seems. Now it’s up to the air marshal to detain the pilot and fly them safely to the coast line.
At just about an hour and a half run time, Flight Risk will have you on the edge of your seats with every action pounding scene. Mark Walhburg, who initially is the bad guy, does a great job of portraying that while adding his own unique comedic timing. It’s almost a shame that he must be taken down as Walhburg has us wanting to go to lunch with all his smirky humor.
Additionally the film stars Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery, Venom’s Topher Grace and King of Queen‘s Leah Remini in this “flight for your life” film. All add their own unique charm but none more than Dockery, whose unique timing from trying to get help landing the plan to that of actually taking on the pilot and fighting for her own life to save that of her clients. She ultimately brings new definition to the term “Bad-Ass” US Air marshal especially as she discovers who is really to blame for the planned assignation attempt.
All in all, Flight Risk which came out in theaters January 24, is truly setting the stage for what is sure to be a set of action packed films to come this year.
