The latest Despicable Me film sees a new addition to the family, Gru Jr. When one of his former classmate/villain escapes, Gru’s entire family is in jeopardy. It in turn gives Gru an opportunity to “do family” like any other family as we see a very unique sensitive side to one of the toughest former villains.
Despicable Me 4 stars Steve Carell returning as the infamous Gru as well as Kristen Wiig returning as his wife Lucy and Pierre Coffin as the lovable Minions. Additionally joining the cast is Will Ferrell as Maxime and Sofia Vegera as his girlfriend villain and young Joey King in a surprising twist to the villian story.
The film as a whole is by far one of the best yet, filled with adventure, comedy and of course the chaotic fun including the every popular minions and newest addition, “The Mega Minions”.
Despicable Me 4 came out in theaters over the July 4th weekend and is a must see for anyone who has ever seen or wanted to see the lovable minions in action.
