“Den of Thieves 2: Pantera” REVIEW

Gerald Butler is back in Den of Thieves 2: Pantera. This time he is attempting to stop and capture Donnie before the biggest jewel heist takes place in all of Europe. But will he really be able to stop it before it’s too late.

At 2 hour and 24 minutes, Den of Thieves 2 will have you on one roller coaster of a ride as Butler as Big Nick travels country to country on the tale of one of the biggest jewel heists yet. The film also stars Straight Outta Compton‘s O’Shea “50 Cent” Jackson Jr as he goes from chased to some what of a forged friendship with Butler.

Ultimately, the film though one has to pay close attention for fear of getting lost, it does hold itself well. That being said, one might strive for a bit more story line as a lot of time one can get caught up in the action, that they lose what is really happening. Additionally, at sometimes throughout it gets a bit confusing where one doesn’t know is Butler truly the good guy or the bad.

That being said, Den of Thieves which came out in theaters January 8, is definitely an entertaining film. Just don’t expect a lot of story. It’s a lot of action with little mind as to what is truly going on.
