When Deadpool’s whole world starts to crumble because of Wolverine’s ultimate sacrifice, there is only one thing to do. That involves invoking the multiverses as Deadpool is in search for the one Wolverine to fix his universe. The only question is who is really behind sending deadpool to another universe and why?
At over 2 hour runtime, Deadpool & Wolverine brings everything to the screen that true fans love. In a nutshell, it is the one superhero movie with the foulest language and the most gruesome crime scenes yet. That tied to Deadpool’s iconic breaking of the third wall and the wise cracking jokes about the Disney/Fox merge and what you have is a film that will leave you laughing all the way through.
The film stars Ryan Reynolds who is nothing but perfect at portraying the foul mouthed Deadpool as well as Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. All in all the playback between the two is enough to make audiences wonder how they are still alive. Very realistic fight scenes that will have people in agonizing pain with each claw stab and sword swipe.
That being said, the true depth of the story might be hidden beneath the action, but don’t let that keep you from watching. There is a deeper message that will surprise audiences in a good way.
