Train enthusiasts brought their own unique collection of model trains and sets to display for the public at the Ventura County Fairgrounds for a two day Train Show on January 26 and 27, 2019. There were displays of trains in industrial settings as well as rural and even Thomas the train enticed the youngest viewers with his carnival game setting.
There was also a seperate room full of more than 50 venders selling a variety of different tracks, trains and various train themed items. The two day event from 10-4 welcomed train lovers and spectators alike for only 10 dollars admission.

“Elvis” Alive In North Hollywood
The king made his appearance in front of a semi packed crowd as part of the North Hollywood Summer Concert Series on July 14, 2018 beginning at 7 p.m. Raymond Michael, who has been performing at a number of different venues including at Knott’s Berry Farm, rocked the park with an hour and a half concert where he engaged with nearly everyone in the park in some way, whether by handing out the iconic Elvis Scarf or just singing directly to them. To open up the concert, a young man named Ryder Green who is known for playing a combination of original works including, blues, rockabilly and funk. Listen to the short video below.
