“Avatar 2”: REVIEW

James Cameron has done it again. With the awe inspiring visual graphics combined with a stellar music composition by James Horner, audiences have another opportunity to journey back to Pandora.

Avatar: The Way of Water follows the story of Jake Sulley, former marine, now Navi as he lives his life in Pandora with Neyteri and his new family. That family is challenged when a familiar face comes back with vengeance. Now it’s a race of life both for them and beloved Pandora they cherish as they take to the water and find a whole new community to call their home.

Avatar: The Way of Water stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana along with Sigourney Weaver, who the writers creatively bring back through the power of epic story telling. Weaver, is now seen through the eyes of a child as the avatar of Dr. Grace Augustin is resurrected as Jake and Neyteri’s adopted daughter, Kiri in an interesting concept. Additionally, Stephen Lang returns as Colonel Quaritch who is living again through the power of the Navi Avatar.

All in all, at 3 hours and 12 minutes, Avatar: The Way of Water captures the same stunning graphics and stellar musical composition with an all intriguing and powerful storyline that will have audiences glued to the edge of their seats. Not a minute of screen time is wasted as audiences will leave the theater longing for more.

Avatar: The Way of Water came out in theaters December 16, and is currently playing in one near you.
