“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” REVIEW

Aquaman is back, a little older and with a few more responsibilities. Those responsibilities includes a new family as well as ruling over all of Atlantis. Other than that, life seems to be pretty good, that is until Black Manta attempts to seek revenge and take Aquaman down for good.

All in All, at 2 hours and 4 minute runtime, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will take you on an emotional roller coaster both above and below the water. The film stars Fast and the Furious’ Jason Mamoa as he reprises his role as the king of Atlantis, as well as Yahha Abdul- Mateen II as Black Manta. That being said, the stunts are spectacular as well as the quirky dialogue between both characters that will further engage audiences for hours on edge.

Additionally, Aquaman contains stunning graphics that will further wow the audience with each new scene. Definitely a film to watch with any DC fan. That being said, the film does have a few rough edges to iron out. It is definitely not as clean cut as it’s Avenger rivals, but it is everything that DC fans love about the franchise.

The film came out in theaters Dec 22 and is currently playing in one near you.
