Miles and Gwen are back and this time they are crossing universes in search of their next villain, the mysterious Spot. They are not alone as for the first time, we see multiple versions of Spiderman all with the same similar story. The question is are they really as good as Spiderman is supposed to be and what’s more, does each Spiderman really have the same fate as the next.
At 2 hour and 20 minute run time, Spiderman: Across the Universe answers some of the most deepest questions in true comic book style. Starring voice talents as great as the original, including Oscar Isaac, Hailey Stenfield and Sheimeik Moore who returns as the voice of Miles, know older and trying to find himself in Brooklyn while defending the city he loves. The storyline as it goes, finds Miles facing the ultimately decision of letting fate happen or trying to stop it for his families sake. The other issue is which universe really his.
The film though it does seem quite long at times, does have some good humor and moments of excitement. It also leave audiences in suspense for the next Spiderverse movie in the works.
