Jason Statham is in his glory in A Working Man. As an ex military man turned construction boss, until his partner’s daughter goes missing. Now he must go back to his roots and find her before it is too late.
All in all the film screams Statham with a hint of Rambo as Sylvester Stallone does have a hand in the writing. It’s ultimately everything one wants in an action film and more as Statham does not disappoint. Similarly the film also stars Antman’s Micheal Pena who has a knack of playing that of loyal sidekick. Pena takes that to the max as this time we throw in that of wailing father when his daughter goes missing and he handles it like a glove.
All in all, A Working Man is a film for anyone who wants a little action packed suspense. It holds your attention from the first minute even to the nightclubs where one is trying to figure out how this connects with the overall movie. Though it is rated R, as it does have both langauge and graphic violence that may be too intense for some audiences.
The film came out in theaters March 29 and is currently playing in one near you.
