Selma’s Domingo Coleman is “Divine G” in the latest prison based movie where prisoners find hope in a Theatrical group known as RTA. When Divine G is sentenced for a crime he didn’t commit, he not only finds hope for himself but encourages other prisoners the same hope through Theatrical Arts.
Sing Sing which is getting a lot of award recognition including being nominated for 3 Academy Awards including for Coleman’s exceptional performance. The film carries a true beacon of hope for all through drama, action and even a bit of comedy. Additionally the film also stars several real life prisoners from the actual Sing Sing penitentiary.
